My life revolves around music. I love immersing myself in various music-related experiences and ensuring that there is always a soundtrack to accompany my day-to-day activities. Music is a fundamental part of my life that manifests itself in various forms. I play the guitar, listen to music, attend live performances, study music, engage in music-related discussions with friends and family, and collaborate with musicians. Besides music, I take pleasure in cooking, outdoor activities, and socializing.

Experience

My experience in the creative industries began before university. During school I frequently documented my social life through photography. This lead me to study it further at Bath College and harness this skill towards real life work scenarios, such as when I worked alongside the blues musician, Kev Brown, as his general assistant and social media manager.

Working part-time in hospitality throughout my studies has helped in providing the social skills I possess, which I use to my full ability when communicating and collaborating with musicians to assist in managing and marketing. Additionally, website creation is a favourable asset of mine. I've built multiple websites, both for clients and myself. 

Through my degree I've been privileged to study topics like 'music, technology & everyday life', 'popular music', 'creative industries & promotional cultures' and 'music innovation', all of which have enabled me to expand my knowledge on the creative industries, especially the music industry and apply it to my career.

  • Knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign 

  • Capability to create blogs - blog writing skills - Edublogs

  • Ability and strength in Website Design - Wix 

  • Strong ability with Social Media & artist/music social media - e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok

  • Knowledgeable in DSLR cameras, film cameras and possess photography techniques/skills

  • Primary insight to music a studio set up / equipment
